The Vikings are said to be making progress in their negotiations with draft picks Marcus McCauley and Sidney Rice. The Star-Trib’s Judd Zulgad says he’d be surprised if both players are not signed in time to begin training camp Friday. Adrian Peterson is another matter though – not a single person seems to think he will be in camp when the first practice is held.

Clark Judge of CBS Sportsline.com says the Vikings will stink, meaning Brad Childress’s seat will soon begin feeling a little warm.
