Another Day, Another Injury

The Vikings have sustained another training camp injury – but at least this one is to the defense.  LB Jason Glenn, who’s in the midst of a fierce competition for a back-up job, was driven away from the locker room on a cart after suffering what Sean Jensen says looked like “a serious left knee injury.”  Also, Judd Zulgad reports that CB Marcus McCauley, who’s been the talk of camp so far for his stellar play, and DE Darrion Scott missed practice this morning for undisclosed reasons.  WR Aundrae Allison did, however, finally return after missing several days with a bad hammy.

One correction:  Earlier this week I reported that OL Dan Mozes had been cut after suffering a season-ending ACL tear.  Now it appears that Mozes has been placed on IR.
