Ferguson Wants To Be In Purple
Ex-Packer receiver Robert Ferguson’s agent Brian Overstreet says that, though the Texans remain in the running for his client’s services, the Vikings are clearly ahead in the two-team race. Said Overstreet:
We confirmed they’re interested in him, and he’s very interested in them as well.
My guess is that what interests Ferguson most is the chance to play his old team twice a year and stick it to them – which might be reason enough to sign the guy. An extra-motivated Ferguson could give the Vikes a little edge against the Packers, an edge that will be sorely needed given how evenly-matched the two teams seem.
