Land Of Contusions
The Viking backfield is a tad banged-up. In his regular Monday press conference, coach Brad Childress announced that Chester Taylor is suffering from a contusion of the oblique muscle, and FB Tony Richardson a contusion of the forearm. Both will be checked out again later this week, but neither situation is considered serious.
Childress also said that, when Chester Taylor becomes healthy again, he will resume his original plan of splitting playing-time between Chester and Adrian Peterson.
