Injury Report
The injury report has been released (I know you were waiting). The big news is that Chester Taylor probably won’t play Sunday against the Lions. He’s listed as questionable – Brad Childress said they’ll let Chester decide before the game if he feels like he can go. The Lions might almost prefer Chester to play, cause that would mean less of Adrian Peterson. The remainder of the report:
- S Mike Doss – questionable
- FB Tony Richardson – questionable
- FB Naufahu Tahi – probable
- LB Vinny Ciurciu – probable
- WR Robert Ferguson – probable
Good to see that Ferguson will be able to get out there. We need his veteran presence at receiver.
For the Lions…RB T.J. Duckett is out with an ankle. Their starting RB, Kevin Jones, is doubtful with a bad foot. This gives Detroit a very thin backfield, but it should hardly matter when they have Jon Kitna and all those awesome receivers.
Has Kitna thrown out a number yet by the way? Will he throw for 400 yards this week or 500? Will they score 40 points or 60? Does Kitna get confused sometimes and actually think he plays college ball for Hawaii?
