Jackson “Beat Up Pretty Good” Says Childress

Tarvaris Jackson came out late in yesterday’s overtime loss to Detroit, and now we know why – he suffered a groin injury at some point in the game, which became aggravated to the point that he could no longer continue. This opened the door for Brooks Bollinger to perform his magic…for Detroit, by fumbling a snap (leading to Detroit’s winning field goal).

Despite Jackson’s ineptitude (4 interceptions, all of the befuddling variety), Childress says he will be the starter against Kansas City this weekend – assuming he is physically able to go. It’s anyone’s guess who will start at QB if Jackson has to be shelved – it could be Bollinger, or it could be Kelly Holcomb; or maybe someone is on the horn to Todd Bouman or Spurgeon Wynn or Sean “Look What I Got” Salisbury. Who knows.

Ballhype: hype it up!
