Again, until the champs lose, they stay number 1. That argument is getting harder to uphold with each week of New England dominance but whatever – I can give them a cheater demerit if I want to. It pains me to admit that the Packers are probably pretty good, and since they’re 3-0, they have to be in the top five. Denver and Jacksonville are boring as hell but make the top 10 anyway. It’s gratifying to be able to drop the Bears all the way down to 18 – but I’m still not convinced they won’t end up winning the division. 23 is the absolute highest I could justify placing the Vikings at – and notice that I keep them ahead of the Chiefs even though KC beat them. I’ve eaten all the crow I’m eating is what I’m saying. And the poor Falcons – if only D’Angelo Hall had been able to keep his stuff together, they might’ve actually climbed out of the cellar. What a mess that team is.
