A Few Friday Links

News-flash – our offensive line isn’t as good as everyone thought it was going to be. And Britney Spears sort of likes attention.

Ancient mystery news…no one knows exactly how many games Jim Marshall started in a row. Apparently stat-keepers back in 1960 didn’t bother distinguishing between a start and a game-played, so Marshall’s game-started streak could be 270 or it could be 282. Other unanswered questions: Why was Stonehenge built? Was Noah’s Ark real? Why is Ashlee Simpson famous?

Viking Update gives props to Brett Favre. Traitors.

Gonzo explains why Fran Tarkenton and Bart Starr are both better than Brett Favre. Yeah, but were either of them ever in a Farrelly Brothers movie?

Pacifist Viking recalls several great moments in over-the-top TV announcer Favre-love. John Madden somehow fails to make the cut.

Guess what? Brett Favre is overrated (according to The Ragnarok guy – and we know he’s completely unbiased).

Skol Vikes guy sneaks into Brad Childress press conference. Taser-related wackiness ensues. John Kerry nowhere to be seen.

Bobby Wade models both the current Viking jersey and the retro one to be worn this Sunday in honor of Chuck Foreman.  They should just switch to the throwbacks permanently, in my humble opinion.

Ballhype: hype it up!
