Around The NFC North: Lions Suck Edition

Green Bay

The Packers lost to the Bears and now sit at 4-1.  They could’ve very easily won that game though, if they hadn’t been afflicted with a sudden case of the Culpeppers.  The great news for the Pack is that they ran the ball – but then a lot of people have run the ball on the Bears the last couple years, haven’t they?

Detroit

The Lions are officially the Sybils of the NFL.  One week they look fantastic, the next they look, well, like the Lions.  This weekend they reverted to form, losing 34-3 to the Redskins.  The 34 doesn’t surprise me, but the 3?  I thought this offense was unstoppable.  Guess not.

Chicago

The Bears have to feel like they turned their season around by going into Lambeau and beating the Pack.  I still think they were lucky – but these are the Bears; “lucky” is their middle-name.  Griese had the kind of game Bears fans were hoping he’d have when he replaced Grossman – the kind where he only throws one pick and doesn’t get the team beat.
