Vikes Not The Only Team Looking To Deal Running Back

Posted by: danzinski

ProFootballTalk says the Detroit Lions may be looking to deal running back Tatum Bell, whom they acquired from Denver in a trade this off-season.  One rumor is that Bell could be shipped back to Denver – but another is that Tampa may have interest in him also.  This affects the Vikings of course – if we believe that they’re really trying to trade Mewelde Moore to the Bucs.  And yes, we do believe that.  Cause Mewelde ain’t getting the ball in Minnesota.  And Tampa needs a running back bad.

Mr. Bell is apparently among those who think he’s on his way out of Detroit.  Here’s what he said after not touching the ball at all in the second half of Detroit’s loss this weekend to Washington:

We got to be the only team in the league where the starting running back don’t even play the whole second half.  I don’t know if they’re trying to tell me something or what.

Wait a minute…when did Brad Childress start coaching for the Lions?
