Halftime Lightning Round

Okay I never thought that damn first-half was going to end…

First off, it’s nice seeing a Viking quarterback complete a deep pass to an open receiver, as Jackson did to Troy “Hands Of Glue” Williamson for a 60 yard TD.  I honestly thought I’d never live to see the day.

What can you say…Devin Hester got us.  But we’ve managed to handle him the rest of the time with directional kicks and a nice squibber.  Plus the one offensive play they tried him on ended with Ben Leber running him out of bounds (after Antoine Winfield had a chance to tackle him for a loss but fell).

Speaking of Antoine falling – I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a corner simply go down while back-pedaling the way he did on the TD pass to Berrian.  The field is a little wet from the rain but seriously…that was just awful.

Adrian Peterson once again has over a hundred rushing yards at the half.  Which means he will be relegated to towel-boy in the second half by the genius Brad Childress.

Is Fox suffering a camera shortage?  Seems like they’ve got about four going at Soldier Field.  The angles are unfortunate at times.
