Purple Jesus is the Future — Must Read!

Adrian Peterson (ESPN)

Jeffri Chadiha, one of our favorite WWL writers by far, dropped a new feature on Adrian Peterson today. In this piece, Chadiha compares Purple Jesus to Earl Campbell, Eric Dickerson, Gale Sayers, Ladainian Tomlinson, and Thurman Thomas. Yes, he’s so good that we’re already going there. The writer also discusses the possibility of Peterson eclipsing the NFL rookie rushing record. He actually is on pace (1,942 ) to break the record of 1,808 yards (Dickerson). Imagine what he could do if Chester Taylor was out of the way. On the other hand, Taylor might be both softening up the opposition and keeping AD fresh, allowing him to break off big runs as the game goes on.

Anyway, this is a must read for all Vikings fans.
