So what have we learned?  That New England is probably the best team in the league and my continuing to rank the Colts ahead of them is just silly stubborn adherence to the old “they’re the champs till someone beats them” rule.  That the Packers are pretty resilient and basically for real. That Jacksonville was smart to go with Garrard over Leftwich.  That Vinny Testaverde still has something left in the tank.  That the Giants were definitely not dead…and neither were the Chargers.  That Tim Rattay still sucks.  That the Chiefs have a heartbeat.  That the Bears are probably done…and the Bengals are definitely done.  And that the Saints, bless their hearts, are at least better than the Rams and Dolphins.
