The Viking defense is stopping Adrian Peterson from following up his big day with another big day. They really need to quit forcing Dallas fumbles and give the offense a chance to have the ball.
Brad Childress has zero confidence in Tarvaris Jackson right now. And who can blame him? T-Jack has thrown the ball wide on a couple of sideline patterns. He seemed to not even know what play was called on a slant that almost turned into a pick. But…
AD bailed the Vikes out on that series with a 20-yard TD run featuring a couple of nifty moves. It looks like we can run the ball on the Cowboys – if we ever get the ball back.
I think Chilly may yank T-Jack and stick Holcomb in there. Not that this would help…
Dallas is moving the ball easily between the 20s. They should really be up about 21-7 right now.
Romo limped off – hopefully whatever he tweaked will stiffen up in the second half. Then it will be Brad Johnson time.
K-Will came out after his TD run-back that wasn’t (because of a glaring hold by Ray Edwards) and the Cowboys immediately started running it up the middle.
Dallas’s play-calling during that last 2-minute drill was Childress-like in its lameness.
The officiating has been pretty much dog-meat so far.
How’s this for a QB stat-line discrepancy:
- Romo: 28/32, 231 yards, 1 TD
- Jackson: 2/5, 15 yards, 0 TD
Yikes.
