He used to post on super-fan <a href="http://blog.lib.umn.edu/maasx003/Vikings/" rel="nofollow">Mr. Cheer or Die's Vikings Underground</a>--one of the great early sports blogs.  If that's news to you, welcome to the Internet. He doesn't just come out of nowhere.
