Childress Rips Raiders

Has someone been slipping something into Brad Childress’s drinks?

Honestly, all of a sudden Mr. Boring is starting to sound awfully frisky.  First he talks smack to Jeff George, saying he should look into fantasy camp if he wants to play football again, and now Childress has taken after the Oakland Raiders, basically calling them a bunch of chumps.

Here’s what Chilly said when asked about the up-coming Giants game in terms of evaluating Tarvaris Jackson:

It is significant from the standpoint that it’s hostile, it’s noisy, it’s a very good pass rush, it’s a team playing with a lot of confidence, so it will be good to evaluate [Jackson] in those confines, within the confines of our offense and just watch him manage it and play and do the right thing with the football.  And, yeah, [he] has to do something. You don’t get to play them all at home. You don’t get to play them all against the Oakland Raiders. These guys [the Giants] are a 7-3 football team.

You better watch it Chilly.  If you somehow miraculously manage to hold onto your job for a couple more years, you might have to play the Raiders again.  The players may not remember but those insane fans sure will.  And those aren’t the kind of people I’d want mad at me, is all I’m saying.

Ballhype: hype it up!
