A storm dumped a bunch of snow on Minnesota (and me here too in Cheeseland) but that’s why God gave us domes (and snowblowers). Hopefully, the Vikings will be able to warm us all up by playing another game like last week’s against the Giants.
Unfortunately, the Vikes will have to take the field without Antoine Winfield again. Winfield said during the week that his hammy felt better, but apparently it wasn’t enough better. Marcus McCauley will start again, and hopefully won’t get exposed too much. The one thing you worry about is Detroit going crazy with Kitna and Martz and those receivers. Let’s hope our new aggressive blitz scheme can get to Kitna.
Another change…Erasmus James will start at right-end. This is a bit of a shock given how little James has played this year. Obviously, Chilly is looking for more of a pass rush from that position. For all the hype about Ray Edwards, he hasn’t really played that well. Brian Robison has had flashes but nothing that would convince you he’s on the verge of breaking out. Maybe James can finally put it together.
Oh yeah, and we have AD back.
