Edwards's Agent Blames Supplements

Ray Edwards has been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s steroids policy.  Of course, according to Ray Edwards and his agent, Ray didn’t take anything bad on purpose, but actually tested positive because of a work-out supplement.  Isn’t that always the way it goes?  The statement from Edwards’s agent Doug Hendrickson:

Ray took some work-out supplements that he thought were legal under the NFL guidelines, but they obviously were not.  He is disappointed to miss the next four games, but he hopes to rejoin the team in the playoffs.

Why wouldn’t you take the time to find out for sure that the supplements were legal?  Whatever – Edwards is gone for the rest of the regular season, and Erasmus James isn’t healthy again.  That means a whole lot of Brian Robison.  This is a great chance for the rookie to prove himself worthy.  I hope he makes the most of it, cause as they say in the biz, I like the kid’s motor.
