Go Brad?
This is the sad reality we Vikings fans now face – having to count on Brad Johnson to beat the Redskins Sunday and give our team a chance to still make the playoffs.
Yes, Brad Johnson, the man we practically ran out of town last year. He plays for the Cowboys now (in case you hadn’t heard), and on Sunday Dallas will rest its regulars meaning Brad will be the QB.
He won’t have Terrell Owens to throw to (T.O. will miss the whole game to rest his sprained ankle), but he will have Terry Glenn, who’s just back off the injured list and will perhaps see a lot of playing time. Hopefully, Brad will be extra-motivated in this game, since the Redskins are also one of his former teams, one that was perceived as not giving him a fair shake. The Brad Johnson revenge factor – this is what we have to hang our hats on.
Of course, none of this means squat if we don’t take care of business in Denver. I guess we should feel lucky that, in week 17, we’re still playing with a shot to make the post-season. But the enthusiasm around this team seems to have evaporated after that dreadful first half against the Redskins. Maybe we can conjure that good feeling again in Denver. And hopefully Brad Johnson’s well-rested right arm will have one last good game in it.
Go Brad. Sorry I called you Rag-Arm. And the other stuff.

Terry Glenn may not play now. If it rains, the Cowboys may hold him back. Kinda stupid but oh well. However Patrick Crayton just got a nice singing bonus….the Cowboys second team can beat the Redskins. I mean, heck. Jay Ratliff was a second teamer and he mad the damn probowl!
