Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier’s name has come up in connection to the Miami Dolphins’ head-coaching vacancy. Were Frazier to be hired, it would mark the second year in a row the Vikings had their defensive coordinator snatched away after only one season on the job, Mike Tomlin having been taken by the Steelers after last season. This isn’t something we need to worry about, however, since Frazier is likely only being interviewed by Miami to keep them in line with the Rooney rule, which requires teams to consider minority candidates. Bill Parcells is thought to be looking squarely at one of his own former Dallas assistants, Tony Sparano.
