I think Porter would be a great fit in Minnesota. I really think he needs a change in scenery. He was groomed by Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, and Rich Gannon to become the Raiders #1 wideout after the future Hall of Famers retired, but he never got his chance. Randy Moss came to Oakland and took Porters spot, and after a ruined season under Art Shell, he finally got his chance this season. <em>"44 balls in Oakland last year for 705 yards and 6 touchdowns."</em> Those are good numbers considering the Raiders struggles at the quarterback position. Porter wants to be a great leader, but needs to move to a new team to get a chance. Bernard Berrian is a good receiver, but he was never thought to be a #1. Porter will prove that he's still got a lot left, and that he can lead a receiving core. He would also gain any speed he's loss to age by playing more often on field turf and indoors.
