A lot of mocks have the Vikings taking Cal wide receiver DeSean Jackson with the 17th pick. I still think the Vikes will go defensive end, but if they do go receiver, it’s now likely they will stay far away from Jackson, whose draft stock took a serious hit yesterday at the combine when he weighed-in at 5-9, 169 lbs. He was listed in college at 5-11, 185 lbs.
Unless Jackson shrank between college and now, methinks someone was fudging his vitals. At any rate, I doubt the Vikes would be interested in drafting a 5-9 receiver that high. Unless they were, you know, high.
