Vikings Sign Fullback Thomas Tapeh

The Vikings have signed Thomas Tapeh, late of the Philadelphia Eagles, to a contract.  Tapeh never got much action either running or catching the ball with Philly, so obviously he is a blocking back.  He replaces Tony Richardson who made the Pro Bowl last year mostly on reputation.  He played his college ball with the Gophers.

Never heard of him. I guess he can help out AP and CT with blocking.

He is a very good blocker. He apparently was great at carrying the football in college, but that has not transfered to the NFL. He can catch a swing pass, but won’t be making many guys miss. He will be a great lead blocker for AP. AP just got a tough physical blocker to pave the way for him.
