Bernard Berrian About to Become a Viking?
It’s starting to look pretty good with Bernard Berrian. The Star-Trib’s Judd Zulgad just reported that the free agent receiver is still at Winter Park - he hasn’t jetted off to Oakland, at least not yet. When asked about Berrian, Brad Childress seemed chipper, joking, “He’s not here against his will. He’s not shackled.”
Berrian, Madieu Williams and Thomas Tapeh would look like a decent free agent crop. The Vikings missed out on Justin Smith, but that’s no big deal. Now they just need a speed rusher at defensive end and a quarterback and they’ll be ready to rock.
