Bryant McKinnie has gotten a June 2 trial date in his Florida assault case. The date was set yesterday at a hearing which McKinnie did not attend. The Vikings’ left tackle is accused of beating on a bouncer who apparently got on his nerves in a club in Miami. McKinnie has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, and the team has said they will wait for the law to run its course before deciding on their own punishment.
Every time this guy’s name comes up, it just makes me wish more-and-more that we’d never drafted him.
