Peppers had down year and is 4 years older I’d like Peppers but would rather Allen for the price tag. WE DON’T have to give 1st and 3rd thats just if we had signed him as a restricted free agent we are neg. a trade.

ISn’t it mandatory that we trade a 1st and 3rd because of the Franchise tag?Ryan, I have surf control at work and cannot view them right now. For whatever reason, I get this blog though. I’m just wondering if he is "better" than suggs or peppers…

Allen has little baggage, I’d love to see him in purple though. De Angelo Hall was traded for 2nd and 5th and top DB’s command alot. I think Vikes trade 2nd and 3rd for KC’s 5th and Allen

I say we do it, we will be the best defense in the league, he will make our corners/safety’s look fantastic. It will be a nightmare for an offense trying to stop Allen and The Williams bros. Why risk drafting another bust DE in the 1st round when we can use it on an already proven one. Just trade our 1st and 3rd round picks, thats the best the Chiefs will see because we draft before Tampa Bay.

If Allen could be had for a 1st and a 3rd, why couldn’t we make a stab at Terrell Suggs or Peppers for the same or less?Or is is that Allen is a better overall run stopper as well as top of the line pass rusher than the others? To be honest, I haven’t seen Allen play a whole heck of alot.
