McKinnie’s Rough Weekend
Reports out of training camp say Jared Allen has been consistently dominating Bryant McKinnie in 1-on-1 drills, and in 11-on-11 action. “Allen had an excellent night and made life extremely difficult on Bryant McKinnie when he went against the Vikings’ starting left tackle,” the Star-Trib’s Judd Zulgad said of last night’s practice session. “Allen had at least three potential sacks in 11-on-11 and what would have been a tackle for no gain on [Adrian] Peterson.” The coaches need to even things out for McKinnie. Maybe they should let him have a metal pole.

This is the first time that I have decided to write down my feelings about anything on-line, but I can’t stand the talk of Brett Favre coming to the purple. I have spend my whole life being taught that Brett Favre is enemy #1 and now i’m expected to cheer for him if he makes it to the Vikings? Forget it! Not going to happen! As a die hard fan who dresses up in purple and gold face paint every game, you will not see me even watching a game this year. It will literally make me sick if I see that old man behind center. We are doing an amazing job of building a all around good team and are going to ruin our relationship with a possible great quarterback in Jackson, just so that we can hear Favre plan to retire for the next couple of years. My Vote—-leave us alone, old man!!!
