		<description>I may be wrong, but my instinct tells me that the Packers are using this stance as leverage for a trade.  They talked about &quot;using this to our advantage&quot;, but I don&#039;t believe they think having Favre create a circus out of their training camp to be an advantage.  I don&#039;t know &lt;em&gt;who&lt;/em&gt; they are thinking of trading him to, but I think that is going to be the next step.

Then again....maybe they are trying to screw Brett by opening the competition, telling him he doesn&#039;t have it anymore, than releasing him or trading him close enough to the beginning of the season that he couldn&#039;t play against for Minnesota (and against them) in week one.
