Maybe stay with 16 but fewer pre-season matchups Otherwise we get a number of of new records set with 2 extra games. Out of curiousity, how many  records set by 16 game players might not have been had the old 14 game record holding players had those extra games. Anyone have insight on that? and... if going to 18 games should we have a record book for each era? Single game record excluded.  I still think 18 is way too many. Greetings to all my Buds.
