A Home for Daunte?

Sports agent Daunte Culpepper has spent the off-season trying to find a job for his one-and-only client Daunte Culpepper. Now it appears that injury has opened up a position for Pepp – reports say the Steelers are looking at both Culpepper and former Jags QB Byron Leftwich in the wake of backup Charlie Batch’s collarbone break. Pittsburgh has only rookie Dennis Dixon and Mike Potts behind Ben “Evel Knievel” Roethlisberger, which would be enough to make any team nervous. Of course Culpepper has said all along that we wants to start…hence his spurning of the Packers and their $1 million offer to sit behind Aaron Rodgers. Desperation might have set in by now for Daunte however, making him more willing to accept a backup role.
