No Tarvaris

Tarvaris Jackson is officially out for preaseason game #3 (he isn’t even dressed).  So is Sidney Rice (stomach virus).

First series…E.J. Henderson makes a big run-stuffing tackle; next play Vikings pressure Roethlisberger, almost force an interception.  So far so good for the defense.

Greg Gumbel calls Gus Frerotte a “grizzled veteran.”  Dan Dierdorf is still around I see.  Thank God for the mute button.

First offensive play…a false start for Anthony HerreraRyan Cook must be rubbing off on him.  Next play…Gus Frerotte sacked.  Things are really going well…

Adrian Peterson‘s first carry.  Not much.  The Steelers D is presenting a huge challenge tonight.  We need to look good against it to feel better about ourselves.  Steelers defensive shifting forces second false start of series.  Do I need to say it?  Yup – thank goodness it’s only preseason.

A third false start, this one on Visanthe Shiancoe.  Can we start over?
