Brad Childress has decreed that no starters shall see action in tomorrow night’s preseason finale against the Dallas Cowboys, a move no doubt connected to the fast turn-around from Saturday’s game. Gus Frerotte will also be kept out of action, meaning the game will indeed be a showdown between John David Booty and Brooks Bollinger with the third and final QB slot at stake. The Vikings should try something novel here and throw the thing open to a fan vote. Maybe Booty and Bollinger could show off some other skills too, like Karaoke and tap-dancing. Anything to spruce up what is sure to be a bloody dreadful game.
