Emmitt Smith is a Phony

Maybe this should be no surprise, but Emmitt Smith is a gigantic phony.  On the Vikings radio pregame show he told Greg Coleman (in an interview likely recorded several hours ago) that he thought the Vikes would win tonight’s game with the Packers.  He also said he thought Tarvaris Jackson would have a better game than Aaron Rodgers because Rodgers has so much more pressure on him at home.  Then, a couple minutes ago on ESPN, Smith flip-flopped entirely and picked the Packers, and said he thought the Vikings had a quarterback problem while the Packers had “a complete team” (i.e. didn’t have a quarterback problem).  Now, I realize it’s not a great revelation that the ESPN “analysts” are a bunch of dopes who say whatever the producers tell them to say, but still – how irritating that a guy who’s supposed to be an insightful expert would say one thing to a team’s radio host and another thing entirely on his national show.  And yes, I realize how hilarious it is to call Emmitt an “insightful expert.”  What an ass (Oh, he played for the Cowboys didn’t he?  Shocker.)
