Adrian Questionable

The injury report lists Adrian Peterson as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. Carolina.  Peterson hurt his hammy in last weekend’s disaster, he says while he was pushing the pile late in the game, and he’s been limited in practice all week (he actually missed practice entirely on Thursday).  “It’s probably going to be a game-time type of decision,” coach Brad Childress said. “We’ll treat here for the next 48 hours and look at him before the game.”  Could things be going any worse for the Purple right now?  Well, yeah…we could still have Tarvaris Jackson as the starting quarterback.

The remainder of the injury report:

  • Madieu Williams out (neck)
  • Sidney Rice questionable (knee)
  • Aundrae Allison probable (foot)
  • Bernard Berrian probable (toe)
  • Artis Hicks probable (elbow)
  • Darren Sharper probable (shoulder)
  • Maurice Hicks probable (foot)
  • Ellis Wyms probable (concussion)

Maurice Hicks is supposed to be the third running back behind AD and Chester Taylor.  Should both Peterson and Hicks be unable to go, Chester would obviously be the starter, and I’m guessing Thomas Tapeh or Naufahu Tahi would be the #2.

Ballhype: hype it up!
