More evidence of growing friction between the offense and defense – this little quote from Jared Allen, who was speaking to reporters about the Tennessee loss:
We have to get on some teams early. If we’re playing from ahead, the quarterback will start dropping back, and then you’ll see pressure … lots of pressure.
So it’s the offense’s fault that Jared isn’t racking up the big numbers everyone expected after the trade and signing. Does Jared have a valid point here or is he just covering his big old ass?
