Cedric the Entertainer

Posted by: danzinski

We’re all still trying to digest last night’s wild win over New Orleans. So many things to talk about, highlights, crazy plays. One of the more memorable was this hit by Cedric Griffin on the Saints’ Billy Miller. It was clearly helmet-to-helmet, meaning a fine for Cedric is in the offing. For the record, Ron Jaworski defended the hit, and bemoaned the way the NFL tries to reduce physicality in the name of safety.

I was pissed about this.  Why did they not talk about the hit to adrian on the fumble that was obviously helmet to helmet?  There is such a double standard in the league in regards to this.

They should let guys kill each other if they want.  It’s football, not a ladies tea party.

…and he pops right back up, to start the pursuit.  Henderson earned my respect after that shot.
