The black and blue is living up to its divisional motto but is it simply cause this division is just plain piss poor?
I don't see the Cheesebrains shooting off their mouths on our blog sites lately. Maybe, they to, realize they are not as good as last year. The Bears are a more consistant team than the Vikes, but they to are 3-3.
Therin lays the key to any Vikings success-a consistant series of games from the defense, offense and special teams that will give the Vikes some playoff hope. But, that is the key for us, da Bears and the Pack. At this point all 3 should be thankful they are still in the hunt. One TD or field goalagainst the Pack or Colts could have made a differense for the Vikings. Da Bears, that one last ditch completion by Ryan. And dito for the Pack in 3 pt, loss to those same Falcons wasting a 300 plus yd effort by Rodgers. Seems like no one wants to take over the "drivers seat" and are content with riding shotgun.
Well Chilly, if that is not enough to motivate your players than you are not the man for the job. It's up for grabs. Are you going to challenge your team to play above mediocrity or just coast along and hope for pass interference calls and last second field goals?
Put up or shut up, as they say, or next time you will hear the calls for your job so clearly you'll wish it were Dec at Lambaugh with your ear muffs on.

Brad Childress, the most embattled coach in the division (even Marinelli seems safer), needs a convincing, non-flukey/referee-aided win to get the “Fire Childress” chants to die down.

Brad Childress needs to go for 2 when the Vikes are down by 2, and not call time outs so he can catch up with everyone else.
