The problems at linebacker have forced the Vikings into a lot of cute roster juggling. The latest move: re-signing Erin Henderson who was let go before the Bears game and replaced with Rufus Alexander. To make room for Henderson, the Vikings waived the very same Rufus Alexander, who will probably clear waivers and be restored to the practice squad. This was all apparently done because Henderson was still feeling woozy from a concussion a couple weeks ago and the Vikings feared going into the Chicago game too thin on special teams. They wanted plenty of healthy guys to run down and tackle the up-man after the badly-executed squib/pop-up kicks. It’s all part of the plan.
