In a somewhat stunning move – or maybe not so stunning if you consider his performance this year – the Packers today cut formerly fearsome pass-rushing defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. “We want to thank Kabeer for his contributions to the Green Bay Packers,” Ted Thompson said. “During his time here, he has been a big part of our organization and our community. We wish Kabeer and his family well.” The Packers had to make a roster move to accommodate Justin Harrell who is coming off the PUP list. So Bryant McKinnie can now breathe a sigh of relief – he will never again have to suffer whiplash while watching KGB go around him.
(We can officially begin the countdown for the nitwits to start calling for the Vikes to sign KGB. Oh wait…it’s already reached zero.)
