The NFC North race may be taking a huge swing toward the Vikings today. Not only is Minnesota taking care of business against the Texans (21-7 at the half), but the Chicago Bears just lost starting quarterback Kyle Orton to what looked like a pretty serious ankle injury. Rex Grossman will have to come in for the Bears – and we all know how Grossman worked out for them last season. The Bears, by the way, are in the middle of losing to the Lions. The Packers meanwhile are struggling with Tennessee. By the end of the day the Vikes could be tied for first at 4-4. And I’m telling you now, the Bears are going to sink fast if they lose Orton. He was having a fantastic year for a team whose running game and defense have not been great.
