Gordon Should Return

Good news…the preliminary reports on Charles Gordon are that, though his injury looked horrible and he will need to have surgery and obviously lots of rehab, he should be able to return to the football field sometime down the road.  Gordon was actually in the locker room after yesterday’s game and not at the hospital, where I honestly thought he would be.  Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier admitted that the loss of Gordon, the team’s primary nickelback as well as main punt returner, messed up the Vikings‘ defensive packages.  Benny Sapp replaced Gordon on the field, and showed why he’s a third-stringer by dropping an interception that fell right into his hands after being tipped.
