As I stated before, we all know that it starts upfront, and in the many of their losses, Ryan cook, Anthony Herrera, and on occasion, Matt Birk have been beaten or manhandled. The right side of the O-line is traditionally the power side of the line. Not only is the Vikings Right side not the power side, but it’s the side most likely to be physically dominated. Ryan Cooke is one of the worst offensive line prospects I’ve seen in purple. He's right up there with Corey Withrow as far as futility goes. I have seen him beaten with quickness and stacked on running plays by pass rushing DEs. If Marcus Johnson can’t beat Cook out for the starting spot, then we need to draft TWO RT prospects. As far as Anthony Herrera goes, I’ve watched the Vikes let good G prospects slip past them in the draft for a few years now, and its coming back to haunt them. Anthony Herrera is a solid back up, and on occasion he has opened up some game breaking holes for AP, but more often then not he’s being beaten on pass rushes or run plays. He’s a tough guy, but When Hovan is beating you for his first sack of the year, it might be time to consider other options. To compound the issue, the right side and Birk are where the majority of off sides penalties have come from. Matt Birk is solid, but he is far too easy to handle on running plays. These guys just aren’t establishing an attitude of dominance. We need to put some focus on the o-line postion now; much like the Bucs and the Jets.

God it's about time, I'm tired of yelling his name at my TV. Seems to take Chilli a long time to figure out what everyone else has been waiting for with everything on this team (be it Cook, AD and Taylor on field at same time, T. Williamson, TJack (I still wish TJack the best and hope he gets something out of sitting but that stays as a hope right now), ect.)
