Adrian Peterson Back After Benching
Adrian Peterson sat out the first two offensive series for the Vikes but is now back in. His first run went for 20 yards. Jacksonville’s thinking, “Great – an angry Adrian Peterson.” No word yet on why AD was benched but it’s looking like Brad Childress was sending a message: Stop screaming at the coaches on the sidelines. Good message. Oh, the Vikes now lead 17-7 after a 50-plus yard field goal by Ryan Longwell. And the first quarter isn’t over yet. And Gus Frerotte looks shaky after taking two big shots.
