No Peterson, No Problem

Adrian Peterson was not on the field when the Vikings offense began their first series of the game against Jacksonville.  There’s been no official explanation yet as to why AD didn’t get the start, but speculation is that it may have been disciplinary.  Chester Taylor took the field in Adrian’s place and promptly led the team to their second touchdown of the first quarter.  The first TD came when Napoleon Harris scooped up a David Garrard fumble and ran it in (the center appeared not to realize the QB was lined up in the shotgun).  14-0 Vikes very early in the first.  The Jags are melting down in front of our eyes and I couldn’t be happier.
