Not Quite T-Jack Time

The Vikes are lucky the Jags handed them 14 points early because we haven’t done a damn thing otherwise.  The offense has been lethargic at best.  The defense has been giving up two many big third down conversions.  And now…Gus Frerotte just threw a pick and was injured while being taken down on the play.  Tarvaris Jackson is warming up on the sideline.  This has the feeling of another game we lead at the half only to give away in the second half.  Let’s hope T-Jack has been studying during his long stint at back-up.

Update:  Okay, Frerotte wasn’t hurt as bad as it looked.  He’s back out there.  I don’t know if that’s good or bad.

I am unequivically more assured Frerotte can steer the ship than T-Jack.He at least is threat to throw bombs, decision making which is another pressing issue for another column re: receivers.Just keep Frerotte from doing Lambeau Leap and hurting self we can survive 08 season fine.Worry about next in off season.

There’s no doubt Gus is the best option we have now.  I wouldn’t put Jackson in unless Gus were literally broken in half.
