The NFL has reportedly upheld the suspensions of Pat and Kevin Williams. They will miss the final four games of the regular season barring an injunction against the league. There is no word yet, actually, on whether their lawyers are still pursuing the injunction option. What a shame that these two magnificent players had to become embroiled in this nonsense. And what a shame that our season will likely be ruined without them. More to come…
The Vikings’ statement:
In response to this afternoon’s ruling, the Minnesota Vikings are very disappointed in the National Football League’s decision and suspension of Kevin Williams and Pat Williams. At the appropriate time, we will have further comment.
The Vikes are standing behind their players to the extent that they are able. It’s also come out that Grady Jackson, who also faced suspension for taking the same diuretic, was successful in his appeal while six others including the Williamses weren’t. Too bad our guys couldn’t have hired Grady’s lawyer.

I saw this coming a million weeks ago when the news first broke...but it still sucks.
We can beat the Lions...I hope. But if Kevin Smith gets over the century mark we are absolutely screwed
List of backs we face in our final 4 games:
Tim Hightower
Michael Turner
Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw
Kevin Smith
All of these backs are, at the very least, capable of gaining a hundred and getting into paydirt a couple of times. A few of them can absolutely DESTROY a defense. AND these teams (minus the lions of course) have some of the best offensive line play in the league.
F***!!!!!
Just some food for thought.
