Erasmus Fails to Catch On

Posted by: danzinski

Erasmus James was a 1st round draft pick the same year the Vikings took Troy Williamson.  Neither player panned out obviously, but at least James could claim injuries as a big part of why he struggled in purple.  Now James finds himself out of a job entirely after being cut by the Washington Redskins, the team that took him of the Vikings’ hands this off-season in exchange for a seventh round pick.  James played in only seven games this year for Washington, notching 7 tackles.  And the guy the Vikings put in as his replacement at right defensive end?  I’d say he’s done pretty well for himself.
