Forget Frerotte

Gus Frerotte, who suffered a back injury in Sunday’s win over Detroit and missed the second half, was kept out of practice today and probably won’t get any work in for the rest of the week.  This means we will almost certainly be seeing Tarvaris Jackson as the starting quarterback Sunday against Arizona.  I don’t need to tell everyone how important this game is.  I’d personally feel a lot safer with the veteran Frerotte in there, but we’ll have to settle for Jackson who acquitted himself reasonably well in place of Frerotte Sunday.  Hopefully T-Jack will be able to build on what he did against the atrocious Lions and won’t revert to the form he showed during his two games this year and in past seasons when he was basically inept.  I’ll be the first to pat Jackson on the back if he plays well Sunday, but I expect mediocrity if not outright suckage.

A federal judge recently ruled that the Minnesota Viking’s Tarvaris Jackson is as much a liability in the case of Minnesota Vikings v. NFC North Divisional Title as the pending court’s ruling in the case of Pat and Kevin Williams v. Weight Loss

I sense a bomb is about to drop in Winter Park…I don’t think it’s going to be pretty.

Ferrotte is the Great White Hope of the Vikings.  If he would have stayed in the game, the Detroit would have been 1-12.
He sucked and we liked it..

Jackson is much more mobile and you all may luck up and win the division with him.

Otherwise Gus plays like he is in the back of the bus.

And the Vikes should have lost when the Lions played them in Minnesota too..

    Screw the Vikings!
all the way  from Joe Kapp to the 2008 team..

The Lions will the first choice for a bailout in next year’s draft…

Lions suck big black rhino dick, you’re just jealous because we are always on top of you, you didn’t draft moss when we did, you didnt get AP when you could have, suck it.

You would feel more comfortable with Frerotte in after what he did against the worst team in NFL HISTORY?  2 picks in the 1st half against a team that only had 2 the whole year?  It’s a crap shoot either way,  Arizona has yet to play a team that has a caliber running back such as AP, and a defesive line which will still include the “Williams Wall”.  I think T-Jack will have a great game as long as he can stay focused and not try to be the hero.
