You had a feeling Jared Allen would have something to say about the resignation of Chiefs‘ GM Carl Peterson, and as usual, Jared didn’t disappoint. The defensive end offered his comments on Peterson, the man who traded him away from Kansas City after he led the league in sacks, on Sporting News Radio this morning:
You know what I’m saying? I believe in karma. Good things happen to good people and I’ll leave it at that.
Yeah Jared. But what if Peterson’s resignation leads to him getting some other job where he not only excels but finds true happiness? I guess that would mean his karma was good after all. Whatever. We know Jared hates Peterson and if you’ve ever read our pals at Arrowhead Addict you know he’s not alone. By the way, Jared also said on the same show that he wished Ray Edwards hadn’t held him back from going after Gosder Cherilus after that controversial play vs. the Lions. Some have suggested that Allen having his knee clipped there was itself karma. Funny how subjective that sort of thing is, eh?
