Offensive Prowess

The Vikings are a defense-first team as far as I’m concerned, but this past week, it’s been the offense that has been earning all the kudos.  This Sunday that offense, which has been one of the most prolific in the league the last two months, was led by Tarvaris Jackson and Adrian Peterson, and today those two players were recognized as the FedEx Air and Ground performers of the week, respectively.  TD-Jack, as we know, wowed the football world by throwing 4 touchdowns on 17 attempts against the pitiful Cardinals.  Meanwhile, Adrian added to his MVP resume by rushing for 165 yards.  This marks the third time this season AD has won the FedEx Ground Player of the Week award, and the first time TD-Jack has won the Air award.  A $2000 donation will be made to the Minneapolis Safe Kids coalition on behalf of the players.
